Summer Getaways in Quebec

Who else is happy about the arrival of warm weather? We certainly are!

That's largely why we decided to put together a list of summer getaways across Quebec for you. Perfect places to wear your favorite Gibou headbands :)

Let's start with the must-see, the greater Montreal area!

Every Wednesday and Saturday, from June 29th to July 27th, you can see a sky lit up with fireworks thanks to the International des Feux Loto-Québec at La Ronde.

Between August 19th and 24th, Montreal's annual Fashion & Design Festival will take place. Just saying, there's a good chance you'll run into us there!

It's a classic, you've seen it all over Instagram, Maison Lavande in Saint-Eustache. It's certainly a beautiful place for photos, but also a gourmet outing.

Now we're in the Charlevoix region, where we suggest you sleep in domes in the middle of the forest. For couples or friends, Repère Boréal is the perfect place to take a break from your busy lifestyle.

In the Outaouais region, we have several suggestions for you.

In the Gatineau region, we highly recommend you visit Pink Lake. You almost feel like you're overseas with the breathtaking transparency and color of the water!

In Wakefield, we suggest a fun and unusual activity: a water maze! You can explore it by pedal boat or canoe.

Experience wildlife without the dangers that come with it? It's now possible to book a night in the accommodations at Parc Omega in Montebello. In some chalets, you can observe wolves up close. Even children love it!

For relaxation, we suggest you visit the Nordik Spa in Chelsea! It's noted as one of the most beautiful spas in Quebec. Believe us, you deserve it.

We're now heading to the city of Granby. More precisely to Verger Champêtre, where you have the opportunity to walk alongside an alpaca and miniature horses. So cute!

In search of new flavors, the Cassis Mona & Filles estate in the Eastern Townships offers you plenty of local products in addition to a magnificent setting to enjoy them.

In Saint-Narcisse-de-Rimouski, we suggest you explore the Canyon des Portes de l'Enfer (Canyon of the Gates of Hell). It's possible to spend the day exploring the beauty of nature, but also to camp there for one or a few nights. Up to you!

On the Gaspésie side, we suggest a day at the beach. A breathtaking landscape awaits you at Havre-Aubert beach. The orange colors of the rocks are truly stunning. It's worth the detour.
