That's it! Winter, which had been slow to arrive, has finally settled in for good. Our skin is dry, we wince when we dare to stick a toe outside, and we bundle up under thick wool blankets whenever we have the precious chance to do so.
Gibou is partnering today with the girls from 1ou2 Cocktails for an alcoholic coffee recipe and a contest. This cocktail is PERFECT for our hermit-like January days.
The instructions are simple: set aside a "cocooning" day, light a small fire or some candles, choose a series on Netflix (recommendation: Making a Murderer), turn off your cell phone, and most importantly, make this comforting drink. Relaxation guaranteed.
Ingredients:
12 oz coffee
1 ½ oz St-Rémy cream liqueur
3/4 oz Jameson whisky
Milk foam or whipped cream (to taste)
Grated dark chocolate
